Cancellation of Community Association Annual Meeting

This is an urgent communication for the homeowners of Steeplechase Ranch Homeowner’s Association, Inc. The (Covid-19) virus and the need to avoid group meetings or get-togethers of any kind has resulted in a decision by your Board of Directors to cancel the Annual Meeting as well as other group gatherings of any kind until further notice.
Your Board of Directors wishes to do their part, in conjunction with Essex Association Management to help slow the spread of this virus and protect to the best of our ability, the health and safety of our Residents. The Residents of Steeplechase Ranch as well as the staff of Essex are of the utmost importance therefore, based on recommendations of the Center for Disease and Control Prevention (CDC), any Community Meetings or gatherings for the remainder of March and the full month of April have been cancelled. At end of April we will reassess the situation and review what the CDC recommends and your Board of Directors will broadcast another announcement with an update at that time; the safety and well-being of our homeowners and the Essex staff remaining our primary focus.
We understand that governing documents for some associations may specify a certain period for the annual meeting and the postponement may push the annual meeting beyond that required time period, however, we believe the health and safety of all Residents and the Essex staff are far more important than adhering to a specific date or month if it helps to ensure the safety of all persons. During this time, other services for the Association will continue to the best of Essex ability. You may experience slight delays in some responses; however, Essex is committed to its Communities and will be there to continue to serve in every way possible.
